These wash bags or Dopp bags have been recycled from WWII era Army Bivouac tents.
We love the heritage of these wash bags. We make each one from 1940’s military surplus tents each come with their individual characteristics such as seams, general wear, tear and in some cases field repairs.
The linings are made from 1980’s goretex bivouac sacks which are also recycled.
Each bag has a leather label detailing their unique heritage and a loop at the side so that the bag can be hung up. It is fastened with a pair of brass press studs.
The bags are handmade in our Cambridgeshire workshop.
Vintage canvas exterior, metal fastenings, leather loop and label and goretex interior. The materials are recycled. If necessary gently handwash in warm water and dry naturally.
