Bivvy Trousers
Having
sold out of our initial stock of WW2 British Bivouac tents a new
fabric for the Mark 2 (MK2) trousers took some investigation.
Eventually we found a good
stock of vintage Pup tents dating from the 1950’s.
These Mk 2 trousers retain the same relaxed cut as the originals
with an extra long leg designed to be rolled up to fit, although
we are more than happy to shorten them on request. And, once again
each pair have been cut and sewn individually making each pair
unique.
The
trousers come in a faded green which can be overdyed by customers.
Similar to the Mk1’s because the trousers are made from
used tents there are inconsistencies, marks and repair patches
which all add to their charm, although the fabrics tight weave
keeps this to a minimum.
All trousers are pre-laundered and can be machine washed.
